Ever tried Burger Beer

RU482

Lifer
OK, I was in the liquor store doing a little "shopping" tonight and ran across "Burger Beer" in the cheapo section. Just for the novelty of it, I picked up a 6-pack (it was only $2.19) I expected this stuff to be prety crude, but it's actually not that bad.

$2.19 for a sixpack!? Good god man... pour it over the weeds growing up through the concrete in your driveway and see how many minutes it takes to completely wither and kill them 😀

Burger, Hudepohl, Hudey Delight, Little Kings Cream Ale used to be all you could buy at Riverfront Stadium when I was growing up in Cincinnati. They all used to be brewed in-town and locally owned. I haven't had an LK in years.

Yeah, really. A six of Guiness in bottles runs about $7 bucks, but it HAS to be worlds better.

For a lot of bang for your buck go with 6 pack of 16OZ Keystone Light. But anyways, as for this brewer, I goto college in Ohio and you can get a Keg of Hudy Delight for around $35. Supposed to taste like Coors Lite but it tastes like @ss.

Sitting here in Cincinnati with a smile on my face. Burger is pure rotgut!!! I can remember growing up and watching the "older" folks drink quarts of Burger on the front porch in the summer while listening to the Reds baseball games on the radio. I would guess that Burger was one of the first beers I ever drank, brewed by Schoenling. Not sure where it is brewed now, Hudepohl-Scoenling was bought by Samuel Adams. Little Kings is still an awesome cream ale, Little Green Monsters....come in 7 oz green bottles. DaveSohmer they are still here!! A few years back (mid 90's) a new found love for Little Kings was started and a new trend called "the Cincinnati Shot" was born. That's right, drinking one full Little Kings after another in one drink....whew!!! When I was in highschool we would buy a "King Case", twenty four of those babies in a case box which opened on top. Dump ice into the box (had a wax lining) and carry it from house to house as you party, it would double as a place to sit if no chairs were available!!! Great Memories...Thanks!!!

Oh my god, a picture of a Little Kings and a King Case (new packaging)! here.

<< Wow, that website has some nipple showing... :Q😱😀 >>
