Ever thought of just moving away?

I have been contemplating life lately. My most recent muse is that I should just move somewhere. Find a one room place that is cheap and live for a while. Has anyone ever just up and left? I am not married, not dating, and have no children. I do have two brothers that live close by, but don't see them all that often. I know I would miss my little nephew who comes by on a regular basis. I wouldn't move out of state, at least not at first, but I would move to a more populated area. Maybe I just want to be on my own for a while.

Any advice?

If you can afford it, go for it. I would love to, but with bills and such a study job is needed for me at this point in my life.

Do it while you can.

I have been thinking about it. The only thing that bothers me is the medication I need. It is so expensive. It would be hard to maintain on a shoestring budget.

The thing is I have been so attached to where I live my whole life. Over the past couple years my parents passed away and now I feel like I don't really have a reason for hanging around. I have very few friends that would miss me. I think I will give it futher thought.

To be honest if I was to move out of state I think Canada would be where I would want to go. I know very little about Canada, but think it might be a nice place to stay for a while.

Are jobs hard to find in Canada. I am talking about the eastern portion of canada, right above New York and Maine. What does it take to become a dual citizen?

My gf's Mom & sis are moving to New Zealand for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the political/economic situation in the US right now.

Every now and then. I think about dropping out of college and just back-packing across the country.

I'll probably do it when I finish college, at least for a few months.

What do they have to do to move there? Do they have family or friends there? How is the economy there?

I think that politically the country is kind of off kilter, but supposedly the economy is looking up. I still haven't found a decent job though. I don't know I think I just want to be on my own. Find my own way of life or something.

Good luck to your gf's mom and sis. I hope they do ok.

Yes

Sometimes I think moving away would be the best thing for me. Then there is a lot of stuff I would miss about the place I live (mostly the people).

i moved when i was 18 and now im 21 and it's hard cus i barely have any money to do anything. i wish i could fix up my old skewl bug and fix my brakes and my suspension and get a good engine but i cant afford it the way my bills are and gas is

I've thought about leaving chicago for few years, and finally I'll be moving in a little over 2 months. It will be 100% new and I'm very much looking forward to a new place.
