Sometimes you can tell the person is trying very hard to speak with an accent like us in the US. My dad and I just tell them to speak naturally, it usually helps both parties feel relaxed and they're usually nicer too ;)

Just posted this because sometimes people complain about it, just tell the other person they should speak in English however it's natural to them and not try to adapt so much!

Just my 2 pennies :)

until i get dell certified through my work...i still have to call in to RMA for things under warranty so i have to keep callin...and yea what the OP said is a good idea...my rule is...if they're a$$holes...be nice...if they're still a pain....be nice....if they dont give you what you want...eh...still be nice and then call back and get another person until the matter's resolved. its worked for me so far. i swear our country as a whole has such little patience for everything. damn it...getting sidetracked again...::pops a few ritalin:: ok...so yes...good advice OP.

faboloso112, glad to hear it's worked out for you :)

As for everybody else, just trying to be helpful! I didn't call tech support but sometimes you need to call your CC company, right?
