ever take Nyquil in the middle of the day?

So I have the cold from hell and I am too sick to drive anywhere. All I had laying around was some Nyquil. I took a couple swigs. I am not feeling groggy at all...I think I got a defective bottle.

i'm afraid to take it during the day because i don't want to get drowsy.

maybe the nyquil hasn't hit you yet...

Funny you mention Nyquil.
I'm sick right now and I've been chugging Dayquil all day.
I've taken Nyquil during the day before and if you can get over the initial grogginess, it goes away.

My MIL gave me some Tylenol PM once when I asked her for something for a headache. I didn't know what it was until I was too sleepy to stand up anymore. "OOPS" :|

Anyway, Nyquil takes awhile to work, and doesn't always make me sleepy.

Nquil liquid stuff (not gelcaps, etc) works for me for nighttime, only one that makes me sleepy-er and gives fast results.

The other brands I generally get antsy and can't sleep.

nyquil is pretty potent stuff but if you guys want an ass kicker then try tylenol cold and flu cool burst. it has twice the power of nyquil. i will bow to you if you can take 2 tbsp and not go to sleep.
