Special, maybe they should use the energy from the neutron decay, or whatever it is, to heat up their coffee while they stare at the readouts.

I've seen one of the test ubits for the GPS satellites - looked like an oversized pringles can.

I was going to build a nuclear powered clock... It'd be too expensive though as it's hard to get stuff that's radioactive enough.

One of my functions at work is planning Cesium and GPS upgrades. We also use Rubidium clocks in less critical applications.

I heard all Iran is trying to do is build some of those. And we're getting all huffy about it.

So we have three possibilities:
1. They want to reduce their dependence on oil
2. They want to tell the time to a high degree of accuracy
3. They want to blow up Israel

Tough call.

You're right, they'd definitely tell us if they intended to blow up Israel. :D

who needs Libyan radioactive material when you can direct the energy from a lightning bolt?

And here I am, Googling for Dr. Emmett Brown, looking for some news story about an academic who had recently gotten his hands on some illegal goodies... I feel owned.
