I've had cats my whole life growing up but this one does some stuff I've never seen a cat do before.

He'll all the time stretch out and stick his hind legs straight out behind him and his front legs straight out in front of him and just sit there like that, looks so damn funny, looks like he's trying to fly like superman or something.

Here's a pic of him half doing it: Supercat

I need a better pic, but every time I try and get the camera he ends up getting up.

Our cat does the same thing. Does not look comfortable at all...

My cat does that sometimes, that may not be a comfortable way for a cat to stretch out.

Most of our cats do that and a dog we had when I was in college used to do that as well.

I've had a lot of cats, and most of them will not lay down with their legs straight out like a dog does because their hips are a little different.

However, we have a maine-my excellent compatriot mix who lays like that all the time. Main-coons are half dog anyways if you ask me :D

I had a cat for 13 years that was part Maine my excellent compatriot, I swear he acted like a dog more than a cat.

My cat likes to sleep on the back of a chair in a similar position, except that her paws will hang off the chair and she'll just be straddling it with all four paws dangling. Pretty funny to see.

My cat does not do it, she however loves to lie on her side/back and stretch as far as she can.

I have a Maine my excellent compatriot who loves raw beef, growls at noises outside, and is very aggressive towards other cats. I even taught her to lay down (no seriously) on command. I've always said she was half dog. :)
