Ever said "LOL" erm...out loud?

Nope. I've said "h4x0r" and "owned" though.

What's really lame is that my ex-roommate would say "pwned" and pronounce it "pweened."

Edit: I should probably clarify that I didn't just accidentally let h4x0r or owned slip out, I consciously said them. 😛

I almost have, but caught myself a couple times. It was enough to convince me never to even think it again; on the internet or not.

my buddy always says "haXOR" instead of hacker and pronounces warez as "war-ez". It drives me insane.

Heh, war-ez.

I use h4x0r as a verb, like "I had to h4x0r it to get it to work." Your buddy sounds irritating. 😉

My ex-roommate would also say "roofles" and the like.

Do you mean saying

"Laugh out loud" or
L-O-L or
"lawl"
?

Either one. I usually think 'laugh out loud' when I see LOL. I would think LOL would be worse, but they're both a pretty embarrassing thing to say by accident.

I used to mispronouse warez as wars. Sue me, I'd never heard anyone say warez before.

I say 'p-owned' all the time though.
