Im running an Athlon @1000mhz with 128mb and Voodoo5 5500 @183.
Im Running WinME and someone told me that may be why im only getting Avg.40fps in the End Results from UTBENCH.
I Have WIN2000 also loaded and im going to Install UT and other games on it to see of theres a Differance because a friend told me that winME sucks unless you have it setup PERFECT.

Anyone else have about the same setup and what kinda Avg FPS are you getting on UTBENCH??

Thanks,
Shawn

UTBench is more CPU than video card intensive... It isn't a very good benchmark(neither is UT a good benchmark, either).

Yeah But I had a friend tell me hes getting 54fps avg and hes got close to the same setup.
I think its an issue if WinME and 2000. I kinda wanna know what other people are hitting to see if its just me :)

Ohh and I should add that The V5 is pushing like 3fps more than my old V3...LOL somethings not right. And yes I did remove all the old drivers and am running the new V5 drivers.

NM has a good point, V5 did not come out with good drivers at all, the ones they shipped with blew!

Settings?

If everything is at max, I don't believe he can get 54 in UTBench in any OS, even with a 1 Gig Athlon.

By the way, up to 800x600 the V5 runs about the same speed as the V3 3000, give or take. In fact, in AnandTech's bench, the V3 is faster. Above that resolution though, the V5 is faster.

At 800x600 High, I get around 38 or something with min frame rate = 0 and 41 with min frame rate = 40. Setup below (but CPU was running 880).

Buddha,

UTBench is just a bench demo for UT (hence the name ;)).

There's enough reasons not to run ME but for benchmark comparison you need to list what res/settings your running.

UTBench really works the system and probably is more CPU intensive then GPU. Its still a good bench for tweaking. I get 28FPS running 1600*1200, 32 bit, high and high with minimum FPS set to 0. Playing 1st person with the same settings I get around 50 FPS average with 40 low and 60 high on average. Thats with a PIII@600 and a Radeon 64.

3d mark 2000 will give you a better perspective on if it is UT or your card/settings/drivers
