simple as that
im doing 190fsb on my epox 8k5a2+ with some hynix/spectek pc2100 and a 1700+ tbred a (1.6v)

figured its not likely to ruin anything if i go a little higher, i wont add any voltage since i cant afford to replace anything...but i didnt want to run the fsb too high at some point and lose something. anyone ever have that problem?

thanks

You might just want to keep an eye on the CPU temp, if it gets too high it can kill the CPU.

hey bro,,

i just put together the same combo,

1-8k5a2+

1-sweet 1700@2170

1-256 kingston value running @180

the only probs i encountered was i didn t burn it in long enough

and i had some file corruption, i just cleared the cmos

and inched it up slowly, im using a coolermaster adjustable fan

and it runs cool as a cucumber and pretty quiet too,

does any body know if the agp/pci divivder on this board

is automatic or manual

I once flashed a new BIOS on my overly expensive Asus A7-V motherboard. Put the FSB on 200 instead of 100...fried like a potatoe...boy did my head turn red then...everything else however miraculously survived...only the board fried...it's hanging on the wall next to this desk hehe...
