Almost twenty five years of sticking my fingers where they do not belong.

Geez Roger, you truly deserve the Beat Up Zombie Avatar!!! :Q

you aint even having fun till you have to cautherize your own wound cause you're by yourself, backpacking, with a huge gash in your leg and noone around for miles.

that sucked :( my leg hurt like hell. but on the upside, i was back to hiking within the hour, and got out of there around 9:00 that night. (this was somewhere around 2:00 that i did this, it was about 1:30 that i got the HUGE gash in my leg :p)

And Roger, let your guys do the work. The only cuts and lacerations you should be gettting are paper cuts ;)

ah, but you havent given yourself stitches yet. did that too :p did it with dental floss, unwaxed, unflavored. worked pretty well. i much preferred that to the cautherization.. only thing is cautherization is instant stop of problem, stitches, can break, whatever, not guaranteed to end the problem.

For those who care; yes, it healed up fine. I have a neat scar though...looks like a Crescent Moon gone horribly wrong. :Q
