Nice thread title  but it was a little scary to click it.

I see so many of those at tailgates now and they're annoying.

Cornhole, or Corn Toss, is a game in which players take turns pitching small bags filled with corn (or sand or beans) at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Play continues until a player reaches the score of 21. The platforms measure 4'x2' and are generally made of wood, although plastic can be a suitable replacement. The bags are generally 6x6", made with duck cloth, and filled with dry feed corn.

Another fun outdoor game is ladder golf. Great addition to those outdoor family events. I find it rather addicting. Here is a picture.

so how do you play?

http://www.laddergolf.com/ladder-golf-official-rules.php

The top rung is 3pts, middle 2pts, bottom 1pt. Toss your three. Add up your total points. Now the other side gets a turn.

If they don't land on any of the rungs you get the points. They can cover up some of your points if they land on the rungs. Or they could knock your bolos off. If you scored 6 points total and they scored 2 you get 4 points. Play to 21.

Last person / team to score points gets to toss first.

Death to Cornhole. My family has played that game for about 30 years, but we filled the bags with dry beans, hence it was called the bean bag game. Frats apparantly got too weak to throw horseshoes in the last few years, and now Cornhole runs rampant.

Thanks for validating my claim that frats make everything cool. We rock.

frats generally make things less cooler and more gayer.

This is huge on the west side of Cincinnati, though I was always skeptical of the game originating in Ohio. I don't see anything wrong with it as you can pretty much play anywhere without a need for a horseshoe pit. Always funny to see the neighbors take up the entire end of a street to play.

I blame Kentucky for this game.

It comes from Ohio. Been catching on in KY a ton though.

i like the cornhole.

I'll hang my head in shame then.

We'll I'm from ky, but i've always heard it was played a lot around cincy. I think my family brought the game back from the war. I think my great uncle who was in ww2 learned about it from someone he served with and brought it back with him
