Another fun outdoor game is ladder golf. Great addition to those outdoor family events. I find it rather addicting. Here is a picture.

The top rung is 3pts, middle 2pts, bottom 1pt. Toss your three. Add up your total points. Now the other side gets a turn.
If they don't land on any of the rungs you get the points. They can cover up some of your points if they land on the rungs. Or they could knock your bolos off. If you scored 6 points total and they scored 2 you get 4 points. Play to 21.
Last person / team to score points gets to toss first.
Death to Cornhole. My family has played that game for about 30 years, but we filled the bags with dry beans, hence it was called the bean bag game. Frats apparantly got too weak to throw horseshoes in the last few years, and now Cornhole runs rampant.

This is huge on the west side of Cincinnati, though I was always skeptical of the game originating in Ohio. I don't see anything wrong with it as you can pretty much play anywhere without a need for a horseshoe pit. Always funny to see the neighbors take up the entire end of a street to play.
We'll I'm from ky, but i've always heard it was played a lot around cincy. I think my family brought the game back from the war. I think my great uncle who was in ww2 learned about it from someone he served with and brought it back with him
