Ever pay your bills with a check online?

So i put in the wrong check number when I went to pay my comcast bill.

The check has been used from like 3 yrs ago (check #134) when i shouldve used 1234.
Will it go through?

The check # ultimately doesn't really matter. You should be fine.

I do it (with comcast too... I think it's their only option for online payment?).

the check number shouldn't really matter. it's a pretty arbitrary number.

I hope CC is available. Comcast is about to be taking over my area and if I can't pay by a debit or credit card.... Well that's just pretty sad.
