Ever noticed how the "Executive" secretaries think they are above everyone?

First of all I don't even know what makes an "Executive" secretary so special. They do what every other secretary does, take calls, make appointments, and type stuff. But these executive secretaries think they are above everyone else.

Executive secretaries know how to replace everything back on the desk exactly where it came from after they're "done".

yes we have some of those where I work. I fvcking hate them. they think they're cool because they take the VP's parking spot when he's on vacation, and reserve conference rooms for their little secretary lunches.

The irony is these days they do less and less. I know some of the ones at my office tend to be rather elitest.

When I worked for a big company this happened there as well. The secretaries always knew the Exec director /vp days off and parked in the front.

I guess since they talk with the big bosses so much they feel more comfortable doing things other employees would balk at.

I work at a law firm and alot of secretaries complain about lawyers and their attitudes and stuff but for the most part they aren't too bad. I guess it just depends on the persons attitude.

Well, where I work they are above everybody simply because the work that they do enables the rest of us to function. When Diane takes a couple days off and the phones are ringing non-stop I swear it could drive a person insane. Not to mention all the nice things she does, like making sure I get pizza on pizza day-middle slice, not burned just as I like it.I admired a jacket she bought, one just like it appeared as an Xmas gift for me.

The woman remembers everything, handles just about everything and does so with a lot of humor. If we didn't have Diane I'd either be in prison or hiding in the restroom eating stale crackers and peanut butter for my lunch!

props to Diane🙂
