ever leave something on top of your car?

i feel like a dork, i left my 'to go' carton from the toco shop on top of my car. 45 min ride home, freeway speeds & street. I get home, and its still there....no wonder people were giving me funny looks 🙁

i do it on purpose sometimes.... i left a coke can on my hood... it made it till i went 55 mph... then flew off...

Must've been a damn heavy to-go carton?

I saw someone leave an SLR on top of their car going down the road, they did finally take my hint and stopped.

I've heard stories of people glueing stuff to bumpers, like a metal lunchbox or a baby seat 🙂

actually there was just 3 taquitos in there...

I left My cell phone up there.....fell off in the middle of a freeway.

I called it when I realized what happened...and someone answered. I finally got it back and it still owrked perfectly, although it was all scratched up.

Still, I can't believe that someone stopped IN THE MIDDLE OF A HIGHWAY for my phone...nice people:Q

I think I may have done it with my wallet once. Of course I never found out if I did or not, all I know is I lost my wallet.

My dad left his wallet on top of the car once when i was about 5. He blamed me for him losing it... said that I distracted him from what he was doing and made him forget it.

That's how my dad is.

dude, that's pretty impressive. Blame a 5 year old ooooer he's got the power.

I've never left anything on the roof, I hope I never do!

I left my cell phone on top of my car.. it traveled with me until I reached a corner.. I came back later that after realizing it, and found it smashed. Most likely a big rig ran over it.. lol

Good thing for insurance!

I used to take the fuel cap off and put it on the trunk while fueling. One day I was in a hurry and forgot to put it back on - it fell as soon as I rounded a corner and shattered into hundreds of pieces.

I have a bad habit of putting my cordless phone on the back bumper of my Durango while I'm working in the garage or yard. The other day I drove to work, 11 miles, got out and went to my office. When I came out to go to lunch my phone was still on my bumper. Couldn't freaking believe it......

how the heck would it stay on for 45 minutes driving at freeway speeds.. that doesn't even sound possible

Actually.. just recently, and for the first time.

Wallet, on roof. (I have no idea how/why I put it there to begin with)... and drove 29km on a bumpy back road... the wallet slid off the roof, and got wedged into the spoiler of my car. When I arrived at my friends house... yeah, you can imagine. YIKES.

thats what i thought, about 10 mins away from my house i realized i had left it on there. I couldnt stop laughing b/c i was thinking of the poor guy that got a taquito with avo smack right into his windshield. But sure enough, it was sitting up there. It was kind of stuck by the roof rack, but that was just keeping it from flying out the back. It could have flown foward at any time.
