Also skinned my nose, dove in drunk into a stupid 4' community pool in my condo complex in CA, I hate those shallow pools.

Oh, BTW... yeah I've had my fair share of pool scrapes. My dad was a sadist and made the botoom of our pool very rough (for good traction, he said).

Chin, nose, elbows, knees, back of my head... all felt the wrath of my dad's sadistic pool coating.

My friend dove into the shallow end of a pool at Hershey Park. It was night time and the letters on the concrete showing the depth were marroon colored. Kind of hard to see when it is dark. Anyway, he hit his neck on the bottom and broke it. He was fine after about 2 months of wearing a brace.

I'm sure I have but i don't recall any partitcular incidents. I've always had a tendancy to swim at the bottom of pools. Actually about a month or two ago i swam into the bottom of a river whilst night diving. There was no vis so i was very confused for a second after my light went out:p

My roomate went headfirst down the slide into our pool a couple of years ago and ended up with a knot on his forehead that stuck out about an inch, with an inch long gash on it, as well. He said when his forehead hit the bottom, he felt all his vertebrae pop, one after the other all the way down his back. He's lucky he didn't break his neck.

Never hard enough to draw blood or break bones. if you asked "ever hit the bottom of the ocean" or "ever hit a surfboard in the ocean" the answer would have been different. Ever get a 6" fiberglass fin stuck in your cheek? It sucks.
