i was just wondering..

if one ships out a parcel with an incorrect address and gets returned to the sender how long wil this entire process take?

Lets say i ship something with USPS global priority, does the parcel also get returned with the same king of shipping?

how long will this return process take? im currently waiting for a returned parccel.

and HOW OFTEND DOES A PARCEL ACTUALLY GET LOST? and what are my chances of recovering it?!?

Incorrect address as in one that does not exist or one other than the one you intended to ship it to?

If its the former, should take the same time it took to be delivered. If its the latter, good luck ever seeing it again.

Domestic mail takes about 1-2 weeks round trip depending on how far away it is and the efficiency of the post offices at each end. Locally it's taken as short as 4 days!

As far as Global Priority, give the USPS at least 2 weeks, and the foreign PO at least 2-6 weeks.

So I'd say at LEAST a month before your package comes back to you.

well..

well....im from La palma, Cali

and it was suppose to ship to Toronto, CANADA

but i forgot to Put the HOUSE NUMBER.

SO the address is INCORRECT, so im pretty sure the postman wont have any idea where to deliver it and im pretty sure the parcel didnt goto anyone else. local post offices were checked and it wasnt around.

So i shoudl wait about a month then? should i contact the lost mail department or shoudl i do it after a month?
