ever had to take a class with someone you don't really like?

the professor seems good and it's the section I want to take

There's a girl in that class who I don't hate or dislike.. it's just that knowing she is in the class sucks.
I know her enough that I have to sit next to her and talk to her.... but not close enough that it's awkward.. have nothing in common to talk about.

The class has about 50 students.. the class seating looks like a half circle centered around the professor in the middle.

Any good method to lower the relationship and turn this type of scenario into a Hi and Bye thing? Even doing that is too much effort... walking with her after class and talking is even worse

Obviously you have some feeling towards her, or her towards you for you to have to post about it. Be upfront and honest. If you're too 'cool' to talk to someone in a chit-chat way while waiting for class, you've got other issues IMO.

She doesn't know anybody in the class and I don't know anybody

How much of a hassle can it be man?!

You will have lots of awkward situations like this if you can't just get on amicably with people when you get a job.

Just keep it on an amicable level. Say hi and bye. Don't chat in lectures and just pay attention to the Professor. Just let her sit next to you.

I also know this annoying f0cker. I just sat away from him and when I saw him out and about. I'd just be amicable with the dude. I didn't want to tell him face to face that he was an annoying f0cker. All of our mates mates thought of the same. MOST annoying dude eVAR. Just live with it until you don't see her.
