When you say "live stream" I assume that means you can't pause and pick up where you were after the pause. I don't do that but I'm not prone to want to talk to just anybody at any time.

How I go to the woods

Ordinarily, I go to the woods alone, with not a single
friend, for they are all smilers and talkers and therefore
unsuitable.

I don’t really want to be witnessed talking to the catbirds
or hugging the old black oak tree. I have my way of
praying, as you no doubt have yours.

Besides, when I am alone I can become invisible. I can sit
on the top of a dune as motionless as an uprise of weeds,
until the foxes run by unconcerned. I can hear the almost
unhearable sound of the roses singing.


If you have ever gone to the woods with me, I must love
you very much.

I don't think I've ever watched a live stream...as in someone talking and talking on line...now a "live stream" full of brook trout...that's different...but I still don't really want to talk to people. Just leave me the fuck alone.

Friends and family knows Ill leave the phone in the car on purpose. While I love tech since childhood, it does not dominate my attention span… Ill unplug when I want to, that means from people too.
