Fortunately, I was able to radio the other driver and find out she was just LEAVING to go to OAK and pickup the daily load. I normally don't do Saturday's but, I'm covering for someone this week.

So I went to get some breakfast like a normal person ( sitting down and eating as opposed to driving and scarfing)

No, but we had a confusion here earlier today. Our schedule said that our sales floor was supposed to be open when it's not, we are closed for the holiday today through Wednesday, but we had sales staff come in due to an error in printing the schedule.

Long weekend except for those poor bastards among us who have to come in on Tuesday to help with our move. 🙁

Nope, my work day starts at 8AM every weekday. I do generally get there 30-45 minutes early to collect my thoughts and enjoy a cup of coffee though.

When I worked 2nd shift, I was often 30-45 mins early;

Working 7am-3pm, 5-20 mins early.
