Ever get to work but not remember the drive?

As parked the car this morning I realized that I don't remember the drive.... I remember dropping my son off at school and I remember parking the car, but nothing in-between.

It's a good 20 mile drive too, involving two freeways and several surface streets.

I hope this isn't a sign as to how my day's going to go. lol

I have been getting out of the car at work and realized I had driven to a previous employer's business. In the opposite direction.

I have that same problem. What is more frightening is when I am driving and talking on the cell at the same time and then realizing I just got done with a 30 minute commute that I don't remember but I know I was on the phone the whole time.

Routine things become a blur because there is very little in the way of change from one sequence to another.

Routine sucks.

I always thought highway hypnosis was when the sound of the engine, the road, and the passing scenery made you sleepy. Happens to me a lot.

yep, happened to me the other day on the way home. partially i'm sure it has to do w/ the fact i take the same route home every single day.. and get stuck in traffic at the same points alll the time.

It happens to me mainly driving either to my parents place or my in-laws. I'll hit the interstate and will just fade out. I've had entire conversations with my wife while doing this and not remember anything. I must be a fairly good driver during these episodes b/c my wife never said she fears for her life.
