Ever find out that you've been pronouncing a word incorrectly for years?

I admit it, I always thought the word "meme" was pronounced "me - me". I've been using the word for years and now I'm finally reading the book that the word originates in (Richard Dawkins' The Selfish Gene) and as it happens he wanted to invent a word that sounds similar to "gene" so he came up with "meme" (rhymes with "cream").

Which words have you been mispronouncing for years?

reticle. For years I pronounced it like "recticle". Oh and I still say manaise instead of mayonnaise. Just can't stop doing that one....
