Ever have the feeling that people generally don't act serious enough? Perhaps its just some paranoia or something but I seem to feel it a lot. It isn't any single event, just overall the people I encounter day-to-day.
Just simple things keep them going. They have this whole world constructed around them and are oblivious to many things around us. For example: when I worked security around the ER and I'd see people dead/die it just seemed so surreal watching the actions of others and how they'd respond to it.
It just seems so artificial sometimes. Almost like I'm in a dream. Its really horrible when I see people laughing uncontrollably or having too much fun 🙁
Anyhow, figured I must not be the only person to feel this.
Doesn't last too long usually. Just a couple days here and there if I focus on the idea. If I'm not actively thinking about it I won't notice it for a long period.
