Ever complained about noisy moviegoers?

Get the manager and he'll kick the kids out. I only go to the movies in the morning on a weekdays though, so only old people there. Very quiet.

I tell the manager there are some kids threatening to beat up someone in the theater, and then proceed to point the kids out to the manager. Gets them kicked out every time.

Snitch.

I used to skip school and walk over to the movie theater.

Me and my friends weren't annoying punks though.

People who bring babies to theaters should be shot.

Who would take care of their babies?

If you have a baby you have to live with the consequences of having it and losing freedom to do certain things if you can't control your child. That or pay someone to take care of it.

Last movie I was at where there was a couple of loud kids- someone complained, and as we left, we all got free passess. I've never personally complained though- I've told a couple people to STFU though.

Yeah ive complained before and had them thrown out. I hate teenagers that spend money on a movie only to sit there and talk with there friends and text message. You can do that shit at home. Im glad the new addition to the theater here is 21 and over with alcohol and food and leather recliners now 🙂 So nice.

I usually shut them up by eaither telling to shut their yapper or if they are trying to be a comedian laugh in a fake condecending way at their jokes.

I used to work at a movie theater. We would take care of things immediately

Then again, I was a punk ass high schooler who didn't mind showing off by telling people to shut up.

I've complained before and had people kicked out.

This was just for really bad offenders.

Why sit there and let some dipshit ruin a movie for everyone in the theater?

Now I just to go early AM showings on Sundays when no one is there.

Depends. I've been places where management or police officers will preemptively warn the crowd (really directed at the teenagers) about being quiet for those opening weekend movies where the kids are likely to be rowdy and in large numbers. Even in some of those cases I've still had to complain and had two whole rows of kids kicked out before (Fast and Furious, I think). Applause followed the officer's actions.

In other, more normal cases, complaining to management will gets the kids warned, or kicked out if they've already been warned...and usually results in you getting free tickets.

I only complain in cases where telling the kids to shutup doesn't work.

Nowadays we mostly just try to go to Saturday and Sunday showings before noon because tickets are half-price and it's way less crowded.

Or just wait for the DVD. There's no good excuse to bring a baby to a theater.

I did just once. Took my wife, son, and wife's cousin to see the Ang Lee Hulk movie and this dude down front had two kids who would not stop screaming, crying. His solution? It wasn't to take them out of the theater. It was to take them into that little hall leading into the theater and scream at them causing them to cry more. He then would bring them back to their seats crying. I finally went to the theater management and complained and the guy left.

That combined with how freaking slow, long and dull Hulk was made that one of my worst movie-going experiences.

Depends on the baby and the mom/dad. Some babies are quieter than others, sleep well after feeding, etc... I don't mind babies as long as the parents remove the baby from the theater if the baby starts crying.

No. I've made snide remarks before. I don't like the thought of missing part of my movie to complain to an usher that is supposed to already be monitoring this. Service at movie theaters is pretty crappy these days. They don't even seem to watch the movie while projecting it, as evidenced by the major problems with projection or sound that seem to go on for the entire movie. I HAVE complained about that, on occasion.

My grandpa got my parents kicked out a movie theatre. He had a degenerative brain disease and couldn't make a complete sentence.
