Well, I try not to, but sometimes it's difficult. I have my weak and my strong moments.

People that it matters what they think of me; a short list;

1. Most of my family (not all...I have some knucklehead cousins that can kiss my @ss)
2. My employers (both of them...two jobs); they pay all my bills!
3. My GF
4. My few friends (I've many acquaintences but few friends)

Everyone else can kiss my booty. :kissysound;

not most of the time, but occasionally i do. for example, i'm profoundly disturbed when my friends tell me i dress "prep" or like a frat boy. i dress in what i think looks good, but it still BUGS me to hear my friends say that about me.

I've met people who claim the answer of "no", but I have yet to meet somebody who honestly does not care. When I find that person that person will be unemployed without a girlfriend/wife, or any friends. We all care to varying degrees. Although I don't dress up when I go to Walmart or the movies (as some people may do), obviously I try to avoid farting when in a meeting.

Generally not, unless the situation demands it, like a job interview. I am very outspoken about things and tend to offend people, but if they can't handle my harsh view of reality, that's just too bad for them--they can go live in their little fantasy land... I won't care.

There's a difference between caring about how you look, and caring about other peoples opinions about how you look you. For example, I like to be clean shaven because *I* don't like how *I* look w/a beard or gotee. I don't shave everyday due to outside opinion.
And, speaking in generalities, I don't care what people think about me (either my dress or my actions).
