Got a Samsung ML-1710 laser printer for around $50 or so last summer, but never had a use for it so i sent it off to my dads to save space...

Well the time has come to use her, so i got it back from my dads and im about to break her open.....

With my luck, she wont work :)

Anyone else do this? Buy something, only to open it a year later?

It's called a baby, and you don't really buy it, but you pay throught the nose.

oh yeah.
- HTPC case, TuaCel 1.0A, motherboard gathering dust for a year (a busy year).
- Pinnacle DC10 analog vid cap card I got off of eBay a couple of years ago and never installed
- i810 mATX mobo I was going to use for a music jukebox
- Asus CUSL2 mobo I was going to use for a server (ended up using a Tualatin 1.3 and Gigabyte mobo for combined server + jukebox)
- pile of games I've been too busy to play
- pile of DVDs I haven't watched yet

I could really use a 4-day work week to get in more playing, watching, and building :)

A can of green beans. I hate those fsckers but it was the only food left in the house.

I have a couple PS2 memory cards on the desk that I never opened. I've also got a couple VHS tapes that are unopened. One of them is the Terminator. I bought that one, but just never opened it. Someone gave me Blair Witch 2. I never saw the first one, and I heard the second one sucks balls, plus it's on VHS, so I just never opened it. I have a HP printer that I did open, but never used. I opened it to get the ink cartridge out of the box to use in my other printer. I just threw away some ancient Hershy bars that I got really cheap and never ate.

I actually have a Samsung ML-1430 printer from 10/2002 in my closet I haven't opened yet. I ordered it when my old printer broke, but I ended up getting another inkjet printer as a gift, and using that.

actually my favorite people are those who have it for a year, decide they don't like it, and try to return it!

I personally enjoy people who have purchased inkjet/laserjet cartridges, wait 6 months to open it, and claim it doesn't work.
Then get surprised when it can't be returned.

Just a DVD or two - it took me a while to get in the right mood to watch the masterpiece that is Citizen Kane.

A few years ago, I bought a barebones 1u rackmount system. After a change of plans, I never built/bought a rack so this guy is still sitting in the box.
