ever bought Penske tires from kmart ?

anyone ever bought Penske tires from kmart ? they are supposed to be made by goodyear?

I just had engine work done there and was checking out the tires while waiting. They are indeed Good Year tires. They also have some kind of cheaper brand you can go with called Spectra. I saw an ad inside where you get the 4th good year tire free right now. I trust them a whole lot more than the punks at Belle Tire!

I had a oil change done there around a month ago and they broke off the engine shield by accident (supposedly). Anyways I called the central office and told them what happened, they in turn gave me a $100 to buy the part

not sure what that says about Penske Tires

Wow...that's bad service! I guess it all depends on which one you go to. The Prickies at Belle Tire scratched up my wheel covers by using the power torque on the outer platic lugs, that hold up the wheel covers. THose guys are terrible and don't care.

I thought spectra was a low end model of Goodyear tire. Maybe I am wrong, but....

Hmm...they could be. I know that Bridgestone has a low end version kind of like that. The cheapest tires that I would ever get would be Kelly's. That's what I have on my car right now. I would stick with Goodyears though. Those are my tires of choice for every day cars.

I like goodyears also. They are pretty good tires. That is what I have on both cars.

yeah kmart has the penske s speed rated 16" for $90 ea and the 4th one is free, think ill grab a set
