Ever been used by a friend?

I just realized that my best friend doesn't care about anybody but himself. Damnit, today sucked.

For me, I just cut all contact and move on.

I agree that's what I do... it's not worth trying to fix things or whatever... plenty of other decent people to meet.

So many times over the course of my life that I've lost count.It's part of the price you pay to be a trusting, nice person.It hurts at first when you realise that you've been used but you've got to understand that the real loser here is your former friend, not you.Besides,what other alternative do we have aside from becoming a paranoid,non-trusting, uncaring person? Living fully requires risk.
