Ever been to a city hosting the super bowl during the super bowl

Well I would like to go to San Diego the weekend of the super bowl...Anyone been to another city??

I don't have tickets for the game...yet...so I would be there for the party...

any tips?

I was in San DIego for the last superbowl. We lived about twelve blocks from where the downtown party was so we walked down there. First off there was NO DRINKING anywhere but in the beer garden (6 bucks for a beer) and at the clubs in the gaslamp (that were packed and charging 6 bucks a beer). Having been to memphis in may and the parties on beale Street, that is a much better street party place than San Diego. Also bring MONEY and ALOT OF IT because San Deigo is pricey to begin with and EVERYTHING IS MORE EXPENSIVE That week.
