Ever Been Kicked Off a Cruise?

Very few pax out of the hundreds of thousands that cruise each year get kicked off. You have to be doing something pretty bad to have that happen. There are stories you hear every so often, but again, it is not the norm.

I had more booze lined up on the dresser in the stateroom on Royal Caribbean than a person could consume on five cruises. Yeah, I know it's not allowed, but like I told the attendant, "I'm a good tipper."

Yes - I created an account a long time ago but I dont think I ever used it... My co-worker who is a very frequent visitor/poster suggested I post my question up here. When I tried to login - i couldn't figure out my old username. So instead of spend too much time digging up the old account I just created a new one.

I didn't realize this forum was filled with detectives! Cross referencing IP's of all new posters??? You are a protective bunch

And trying to sneak booze in water bottles doesn't work any more for many cruize lines as they will shake the bottle or open it up and smell now. (busted last winter for smuggling white rum in a plastic water bottle). They don't kick you off or deny your boarding, they will just confiscate it.

I don't think I've ever heard of RCCL being called a senior line. 😕

It was when I was there last winter. 90% retired couples.

We brought 3 bottles on booze onto Princess cruise last year without problem. Left it out for the cleaners to see to, never heard a word about it.

Anyway, even if they do catch you it isnt something they will remove y ou from the cruise for. At best, they will confiscate it.

I heard that cruise ships are nasty places where you get exotic illnesses and then they throw your corpse overboard and say that you left the country due to tax evasion.

Never been kicked off, but I've missed an entire stop in the Caribbean due to partying until 7am. The stop in the Virgin Islands was at 8am. I woke up around 5:30pm as we were pulling away and waving goodbye.
