Ever been attacked by a WILD animal?

I've been attacked several times by cottonmouths while fishing. I usually carry my stringer of fish with my while wade fishing through rivers and lakes, and on several occasions I found some sort of water snake trying to eat my fish. The first two times I just scared the snake away. But the next couple times, I put a large minnow/shad onto my gear and actually fished the snake. I landed them both, and both were quickly beheaded.

Nutria are found in NW Oregon as well. My buddy Mark and I have gone to watch a fairly sized family at a park w/ a river through it. They've made tunnels everywhere. The alpha male is 4 feet long. :Q

I've been attacked by beavers numerous times, they usually hide in bushes but sometimes not. They usually get me when I walk in the country near the pussy willows. Once it was raining and a wet beaver attacked me.

Yup, by a squirrel. When I was about 7 or 8 a mad squirrel (my brothers had been throwing rocks at it for our an hour) ran up my right leg, biting as he went along.

He didn't stop until I froze, then he jumped off me and ran off.

That was one lucky squirrel because if my brothers weren't so worried about getting me to the hospital, they would have stayed and killed the thing.

I almost got bit by a baby rattle snake one weekend when we at a lake. It came in our camp area, and like a dumbass I tried to pick it up by the tail, Croc Hunter style, without knowing exactly what it was. The sucker came back on itself trying to bite me, but I reacted quick enough for it to miss. Then it coiled up like a rattle snake and started shaking it's little tail at me (not old enough to have a rattle).

I had a live baby rattlesnake greet me in my apartment when I moved in, here in Oklahoma. I was also (in an unrelated incident) bitten and had my arm wrapped up by a 13-foot Burmese python when I was in college (this was technically a pet, not a wild animal, but it was plenty wild enough for my taste).

I forgot I got stung by a Dwarf Lion Fish when I was working at a pet store. Of course it wasn't wild when it stung me, but it was wild caught. I was cleaning a tank full of them and one was behind a rock. I didn't see it and BOOM, it got me. It hurt pretty bad, got me right on the finger, had to run my finger under scalding hot water to try to stop the poison. My finger got all swollen up and I couldn't bend it for awhile. Plus I started sweating really bad and felt pretty weak for awhile.
