When I check my event viewer, I see an error that says device attached to the system is not functioning. It doesn't give any other details other then that. Is there a way to see what the error has to do with, or if something is not working correctly on my laptop. Thanks.
 
Write down the "Event ID number" and the "source" and go to www.eventid.net and plug that info into their little search engine. The results will (usually) tell you what your problem is. Eventid.net is a good place to remember when you're troubleshooting Event Viewer errors and warnings.
