Yeah I just watched it on Sci-Fi as well. Kinda cool but kinda stupid.

But definetly.... One of the top movies to watch with your g-friend :);):D

Same here. My masochistic streak, I guess.

(on a total tangent, my mom took my sister and I to see "The Exorcist" at a drive-in when it came out, we were 8 and 10 at the time. I blame every bad thing that happens to me in my life on that because of the traumatic experience ;) )

Our mom's must be long lost sister's. My mom took us to see Poltergheist when it came out.... I can't look at one of those mime dolls without cringing....

Scary Movie 2 is a good cure for that. I can't watch Poltergeist now without laughing at the thought of Marlon Wayans buggering the little doll.

DITTO

wish i had never watched it. another movie that i wish i had never seen was something called "toy maker". it was about some medieval toy maker made a toy that unleashed some demons then finally were destroyed by his decedent on a space station. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY SICK. for quite a while i had trouble getting those images out of my head thanks to that movie and O.C.D. i was pretty young though.

I've seen it twice, and it was rather disturbing both times-actually one of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen. I still think The Shining is the best horror flick that I've ever seen, just because it actually has very little violence (most of it is just mindgames). Event Horizon is great as a horror flick, but it has many noticeable flaws as a sci-fi flick (actually surviving explosive decompression of the sort shown in the movie comes to mind).

For a moment there, I thought I was the only one that didn't like the movie... There really wasn't anything in it that made me go whoa...
