Even Bimbos Have Trucks

My daughter just came back from a Mission trip with our church to Mexico, and she bought her brother a soccer t-shirt, and we were joking with him, because it has the name, "Bimbo" on the front, and I was explaining to him what a bimbo means in America. LOL 🙂

So we looked up who this Bimbo is in Mexico and found it:

I think that truck is funny, can you imagine driving that thing around in America, the looks you'd get, LOL. 😉

They have those trucks here. Especially here in So Cal. It's a pretty popular brand with bread and pastries.

LOL, Bimbo is in S. Cal. well that wouldn't surprise me with it next to Mexico.

The last time I was in Cal in the 80s they weren't there.

Hell, Bimbo Bakeries are even in Northern Kahleeforneeya...Their products are on the shelves right next to Hostess and the other mainline bakery companies.

Yea, when I was in Cancun we rented a car for the day to drive down to Tulum, and along the way we stopped at this gas station/convenience store (which are just as nice or nicer than American expanded gas/convenience stores btw) and got a Bimbo sandwich. It was good (some sort of Latin-influenced pork sandwich).

So yes, I had a bimbo sandwich for lunch!

Dude - Bimbo pastries are delicious. What's wrong with our proximity to Mexico's baked goods?

I'm just saying with Cal. close to Mexico I can understand why Bimbo would be there, not knocking it.

The joke was over the name, I guess I must be getting old, or people in the USA don't call people bimbo(s) anymore, LOL.

LOL, the Wiki has Bimbo:
