That's happened so many times that there really isn't just "one" story. There are some more notable ones due to the sheer amount of isk & assets they took like the folks from the Guiding Hand Social Club and the guy that took a bunch of isk from EVE Bank.

that has happened many times.
 
So I finally figured out a decent set-up for a Drake equipped with a combat probe launcher. This should make low-sec piracy a lot more interesting.
 
I've had some very flaky interface bugs lately.

Modules wont turn on/off, targeting hangs forever, etc.

The weirdest part, it only happens in my home missioning system 🙁

That's typically an indication of server side lag that's affecting just the modules. What's the average population of your home missioning system when this happens?
 
Spent nearly the entire night running plexes/anomalies with another corpy. We made a killing, got a few nice items from the plexes and had 2 faction spawns in the anomalies that dropped good stuff.

Make a bunch of steam accounts and buy one for each, then do buddy invite for your Eve account and boom free month for $1.99 when you make the new eve account you bought from Steam.

I did this with the holiday sale at $5, but man at this price, ill be here all day making dummy accounts

You can only do 3 buddy invites per month on Eve, but the eve account from steam doesnt activiate till you want it too
 
hey guys... i've played through free trials a few times before but i'm finally biting the bullet and buying this off steam. actually almost bought it yesterday... so i'm overjoyed that it's included in the sales today.


anyone wanna help me out with a corp invite? i can return the favor with a buddy invite like kaotik was talkin about. gotta get some groceries... but will be setting everything up later today. pm me or something 😛

That doesn't work any more. You can't use a key aquired through Steam to activate buddy trial account.

I'm not sure if you if you can use one of these $2 keys to activate normal trial account.

Um yes it does work, I have used up my 3 buddy invites for the month and have 3 months of game time credited to my account now.

I've made a bunch of Steam accounts and bought Eve on them as well to last me quite awhile now too since I can only do 3 a month.
 
I am looking for a new corp.

You must be:
1. active
2. not stupid

those are my only 2 requirements of the corp. I have 2 ~15m SP combat pilots (one caldari one minmitar) that i dual box. I play every 1-2 days. I typically raise enough ISK via missioning to pay for PLEXs so i don't have to pay the monthly fee.

I enjoy pvp when it is organized and again, not stupid. This means we are not taking T1 cruisers to fight faction battleships and the like.

Hmm... according to the Terms and Conditions of the Buddy Program:

Eligible subscription activations can be funded by Credit/Debit cards, Direct Debit, WebMoney, paysafecard, ETC, PLEX and PayPal.
Payments not eligible for this offer: PayByCash, Steam.

They added the Steam exclusion after the last Christmas sale. But hey, if it works, it works.

lol, guess they don't have the kinks worked out. I just copy the CD Key steam gives and entire that in on the account page and boom, buddy trial account upgraded and my main account has a free month added to it 😀

They had two more that aren't on the mail, but it was a fun fight. I question the friendly Brutix loss, as I think that fit was one of the worst brutix fits I have ever seen, but at least it was cheaper than a single module from one of the kills we got.

Because of who we are, we usually don't have a shortage of fights. That experience helps us know how to respond better.
 
Well, a mod/dev just locked a thread on the eveboards about the steam+buddy invite "exploit".

So we'll see if they take my 30 days away 🙁

But atleast I have a lolalt to mess around with(Hulkageddon), unless they close that too.
 
So I've decided I need a new corp to join. I don't really have the time or dedication for big and maybe cooperate on some commercial endeavors with.
