EVE: Valkyrie Announced

It really depends on how the game goes. It may very well be a shallow quick FPS type space sim vs. a Wing Commander/Privateer type game. There's nothing wrong with that and it's good there's more space based games coming out.

Maybe the resurgence in the space shooter and space sim will cause a resurgence in NASA funding. 😛
 
Hell I'd love something like this if it were in the vein of Wing Commander 1, 2, Tie Fighter, X-Wing.

I messed around with Eve for a tiny amount of time, I don't understand how there are so many people that can play games like that for the tens of thousands of hours that they do. With everything in my work and family, I have maybe 30 minutes free every week to play games of any kind.

Was reading that Oculus will be required, so after that it's a no go for me. SC for me. I've used the rift DK1 and DK2 for about 10 hours each, hate them both.
