Evanescence - anyone else like their music?

What I don't understand is how Evanescence has turned into the AT nerd band. I really don't see the girl as being that hot - they're an alright band - but that's all.

Man - If I hear Bring Me to Life one more time.... I personally can't believe they are going to be on the main stage at BFD. They definitely do not fit w/ the other bands that are premiering. They should've been a festival stage one.

I've never seen the band or the vids. I've only heard the music.

a more rocky version of garbage. garbages album is more listenable though. evanescence's album is so dreary if u try to listen to the whole thing. u just want to yell sh*t up b*tch!! droning depressing.. a few parts are ok, i like 2 of the songs.

it just seems that they are a formulatic band - like boybands. Their songs aren't bad, but they aren't very good, not to mention that style of the music coupled with the female singers voice doesn't go well together.

I got Fallen a few weeks ago and I think it's great. Really like their style. Amy's vocals are amazing.

I'm a fan, although I do agree that Garbage was better (are they still a band?) if you listen to the CD a few times, it definitely grows on you.

I can't wait to get the new Staind cd.
