I think he's missed a few of his self set deadlines.
At the beginning of May he said an I875P roundup would be up prior to the Springdale review.
Then on the 20'th and 22'nd he said it'd be up in a week.
Perhaps he's decided to amuse himself with the callings of his/AT's fan base?![]()

So when will we see this roundup? I waited two weeks for this roundup. I'm stuck between the IC7, IS7, P4P800, and the Albatron. And I'm also stuck between 3200 or 3500 for memory. I was waiting for your roundup to help me out. Looking forward to it.

How about this...if I don't post this 25-way (maybe even more) 865PE/875P roundup by Friday, June 13th I will send you, free of charge, any P4 motherboard you like. OK?![]()

In that case, please take all the time you want
Seriously though a 25-way roundup sounds very nice indeed. I may have already purchased the P4P800 Deluxe by then but it'll no doubt make for interesting reading.
You did fine. The IC7 is a great mobo. Use the version 13 BIOS.Originally posted by: anomaly
I think I chose the wrong mobo when I ordered yesterday =/ I got an IC7 instead of a P4P800. Im going to kick myself if the P4P ends up performing better than the IC7 once the bios's mature =(

may I ask why you're doing a 865 and 875 roundup together? Many people know that the 875 is faster and has more features in general, but the 865 is in a more attractive pricerange and I'd much rather see a roundup of the two chipsets seperately to get a feel for what is available for the 865PE.
Just a thought.

We have received updated BIOSes for several 865PE motherboards that exactly match and even surpass many 875P motherboards in performance.

Interesting, we've all seen and/or read about the P4P800's Canterwood-like performance, it'd be quite the showing if more boards were to offer equivalent performance to the Canterwood.

Yes, after hours of testing it was quite a surprise to see that 875P was basically nothing more than an 865PE with ECC support. Perhaps we'll discover something new during the next week of testing.

Any comments on MSI's 865PE Neo2-FIS2R?
It's still hanging in there as a distant second to Asus' P4P800 Deluxe for me.
