Evan Tanner dead at 37

Bummer, he was one of the more interesting guys in MMA. I love watching his fights from the early days of UFC.

Oh shit! He finally seemed like he was getting back into proper fighting shape - this is really sad for the MMA world. He never caused much controversy, he was always just another possible upset in the making. Sure, he had a few bouts where I thought "wtf, how can he fight in that condition", but he recently started to whip himself into shape.

I hope that, for the sport of MMA, nothing bad turns up in his autopsy/reports. I'm currently watching Saturday's matches as we speak. A pretty freaking big card with relatively little commotion.

Wow, that is a bummer! He seemed like a down to earth guy, who really respected his fellow opponents. Truly, a sad day in MMA history.

Evan Tanner, you will be missed.

Oddly enough, I thought Full House when I saw the thread title too.

I read that he liked to take spiritual journies into the desert that would likely kill him if his motorcycle had engine problems. Possibly that's what happened here. Hopefully he found peace.
