I thought this might be a reasonably funny movie but I saw it recently and thought it blew.

No, I wasn't surprised. Bruce Almighty was pretty funny though and Steve Carroll was good in 40 Y/O Virgin.

Yeah..i liked BA...and I like Steve Carell...but something about this movie just screams FAIL. Thanks for confirming though..lol. I honestly haven't heard much good about this movie from pretty much anyone (except to say, "my kids liked it").

I thought it was fine. Not as good as Bruce but it didn't suck at all. Was very entertaining for the most part.

Edit: oops IMDB says $85 Million. Still a lot.

carell sucks, he sucked in virgin and it wasn't hard to predict he would suck in this one.

It sucked, but that was obvious with all the hype and how much they pushed the turd on us. Bee movie will most likely be a turd too.

It was terrible. Full of corny jokes that made me uncomfortable even watching it.

I do like Steve Carell in The Office though.
