I've beae surfing the hardware web sites nearly from the beginning and remember the early days of Tom's Hardware Guide, Anandtech and Ace's Hardare. There were just too few sites then.

Now the hardware community has grown beyond any projected border and it's easy to find quality info at many places.

The vast majority of web sites are from the US, but there are a few based here in the old continent :-D.
I thought that Ace?s hardware was EU based but I?ve found that isn?t. They are like a distributed machine with Chris in the UK, Joahn in Belgium and Brian in US.

The European sites I like the most are Hexus.net, Theregister, Theinquirer and this wonderful german one called c?t which makes me use the translator :).
I like the Theinquirer and Theregister because of their unique way of saying things, Hexus because it?s probably one the best EU sites, c?t because they are very original and high quality.
Then you've got Hardware.fr, in french and Noticias3d.com in Spanish. I can't say much about Hardware.fr because my french is not very good, but I think that Noticias3d.com looks like a promising site. I definately like two of their articles "Semiconductor technologies" and "Amd: past, present and future".
They helped to understand what SOI, Copper interconect, SPICE, Verilog HDL are. I?m refering to specific article here because in my opinion these are two articles a bit different from what you normally see.

Just wanted to give some credit to these sites cause I think all these web sites are doing a terrific job without all the support US sites have.

Any comments?

PS: I posted that in Ace?s as well, more or less a month ago.
