It makes no difference to me, I wouldn't buy one if it was released tomorrow.
I did refuse to buy Deus Ex 2 which was released in the UK 3~5 months after the US because of the delay though.

I've been saying all along I hope this generation ends at 33.3% market share for the 3 companies because competition is key, but damn Sony is an annoying company.
