Quality, not quantity.

I'd rather live an amazing life til 75 than die at 100 being a fvcking eunuch.
 
Uh... huffpuff and the onion aren't exactly the places I'd rely on for making that decision. Not to say it's not true (I'm being lazy about looking it up right now).
 
This actually makes sense because in most mammals, the male is designed to start to self destruct once they're not viable to reproduce. If your body loses it's timer, it doesn't know what to do.

The actual science behind that is vegetarians eat fewer calories. It's not the lack of meat that makes them live longer, it's removing excess calories from their diets that's making them live longer.
 
Going by the kids thread, this might as well be an opt-in procedure for people who make $100k+ at age 20.
