eudroa email problem

Screen Shot w/ error msg

Anyone know what might be causing this? I've used eudora
for years and never encountered this error msg. I also have
eudora installed on two other boxes and its functioning
fine with the same email address's.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling eudora but the same
error msg keeps popping up.

Are you using any virus scanning software? The reason I asked is because I had Norton Anti-Virus on a machine and when I disabled the e-mail scanning feature, I was not able to download my e-mails. Then I turned the scanning back on and everything worked fine.

Try turning off SSL support for your account as shown on this page, and if that doesn't work, add the certificate as describedhere.
