@$!@#@#$%!@# Etrade & WAP

I've started trading some stocks again & thought I'd use my WAP enabled phone to access etrade, & I get a server error, called AT&T & they suggested my phone just wasn't compatable, no prob, I have a Nokia 6800 coming...

Called Etrade & found out their wap site doesn't support ANY of the new generation phones... The Etrade guy asked if there was anything else he could help with & I asked him which online brokers supported the new generation phones...

Ameritrade here I come...

@#%@#$#@

I was thinking of opening an ETrade account after I sell my car. Is that the only problem you've had with them?
Any other benefits available through Ameri-Trade?

I lost around $900 2 years ago in the stocks, damn techy stocks had to drop... I pulled out and will start doing stock again when I think the market is a little better then now. 🙁

After 2 years of trying, I just gave up trying them to put the correct name & addresses on my checks, other than that, I haven't had any problems with them.

I expected that they'd @ least support the WAP enabled cell phones that have been out for so long, guess that's why I'm frustrated, I'm used to them, hate to change brokers.

Had a horrible experience with Scottrade, actually threatened tha local branch manager with violence to get my tax statements for 99'. Don't know what the hell the problem was, but they finally came across with the paperwork after 4 months...

Try a $10K hit in options, that one left a mark & set me back 6 months...
