ETRADE: I HATE IT

So i started to put money in trading since things are semi dirt cheap.. so now they got this new interface, it sux big time, all these java crap.. I end of selling emc stock today instead of buying...

I gotta find a way to disable that java crap or I gotta transfer my fund out of etrade...

is datek or anything else good ?

Datek rocks. If you have any specific questions what you're looking for I might be able to answer them. I have an etrade account but don't have any money in it and haven't seen it lately.

if i checked I could have made money, but it's up from this morning... i "sold" it at 10.85 where it should have been a buy

but i bought the same on my gf's account, could have made double but now i'm even...

Lots of people I know recommend Scottrade. Not a biggie like Etrade, but they have been around for a while and they are dirt cheap. As for phone orders dukdukgoos, you pay extra at most places to call in an order and talk to someone.

Ah, didn't know that about paying extra for phone orders. I have Etrade, but I haven't done any trades since the redesign. Actually, I don't trade at all, more of a buy and hold guy...
