Many Presidents have made bad decisions in the past out of haste and fear. Time gives us the luxury of examining these decisions in great detail. The object lesson of history is to be smart enough not to repeat the same mistakes.

Hell, just play the numbers, what is more important - a few hundred suspected terrorists that were detained, or a few thousand innocent Americans who died?
