I'm having problems with my network card. A while back I signed up for comcast broadband. They connected the cable to my computer via an ethernet cable and all was well in the world. A few weeks later I installed a new video card (subsequently deleting all the old video card drivers) After I had installed the card, my computer was no longer detecting my modem. The only way I could connect to the internet was via a USB2 cable. Today I bought awireless router and I can't get it to work, probably becasue it connects to my computer via the suspect ethernet port. Did I accidentially delet the driver for the ethernet port? Did I knock something lose when installing the new video card? When I open up my device manager under network adapeter is says 1394 net adapter #3 (which nevere shows any internet connectivity) and my motorola cablem modem. There was also a yellow question amrk for PCI bridge device that it could not find the drivers for. My system was built by ABS and I am unsure what network card was installed. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff
