I put a fresh install of xp prof on my system and now my ethernet port isnt being recognized.

I'm guessing i wiped some drivers or something, need help to get it working.

I know there is litter info given, but i figured i dont really know what else is needed.

Thanks

You need to provide the following info:

Make of PC

Make of Motherboard if NIC is Onboard

Make / Model of NIC Card if in a PCI Slot

If your Ethernet card is Not main stream OEM, and or very new production the drivers are probably not existing in the WinXP drivers? cache.

Log to the NIC's manfacturer site and download the latest drivers.

Clean the Ghost too, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#ghost
