Ethernet cable..

I'm not sure if this question goes in here, but I'll ask anyways. I'm looking for some, dont even know what to call them, some "things" that would help me run an ethernet cable thru my house and being able to place the cable neat next to the wall or on hardwood floor.
 
Forget the cable stapler ... You're more likely to damage the cable if you get the wrong size.

Find some "Panduit" raceway (or similar - once you find it, you'll be able to find competitors .... or just go to Home Depot)t above the floor trim. It's a bit more expensive, but is a much better way to go.
