Ethernet adapter on Compaq 1700T laptop (174xl)

I bought my laptop with out the ethernet to save $50, and am now wanting to get it. there is already a port, and i took the little cover off that Compaq put there. It looks like the thing is ready to go, just needs a jumper or somehting moved. I tried to take the bottem off, but had no luck. There must be a hidden screw.

Does anyone have one of these that they have taken the bottem off of? or installed the eahternet card them selves?
